Greetings, a funny, festive, feel-good holiday play, is coming to Basile Westfield Playhouse Dec. 5 to 15. The show is about Andy, who has a sweet Catholic mother, a sour Catholic father, and an intellectually disabled younger brother named Mickey. When Andy brings his Jewish atheist fiancée to meet the folks on Christmas Eve, Mickey, whose entire vocabulary has been limited to “oh boy” and “wow,” suddenly spouts the word “Greetings!” The entire family’s belief system is turned upside down because it appears an ancient, wise, and witty spirit who is set upon healing the family’s wounds has borrowed Mickey’s body! Get your tickets online at BasileWestfieldPlayhouse.org and keep reading The Reporter for our upcoming interview with Director Jeremy Tuterow.
