Thursday was Kirk Hardware’s last day in business on the Historic Courthouse Square in Noblesville. Owners Bill and Carrie Prater received a mayoral proclamation for their more than 20 years of friendly local service to the people of Noblesville and Hamilton County. Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen proclaimed March 31, 2022 “Kirk Hardware Day” in the City of Noblesville. Bill worked at Kirk Hardware for over 36 years – still only a fraction of the time the hardware store was in operation. The Reporter wishes the Praters all the best in their retirement.
