Retired Noblesville police officer Charlie Jones died Monday. He was more than a police officer, and his importance to Noblesville and the Hamilton County community at large was well-known.
Noblesville Mayor Chis Jensen had these words following Mr. Jones’ passing:
“Charlie Jones was an icon in our community,” Jensen said. “He was a humble public servant and touched so many lives during and after his time as an officer in the Noblesville Police Department. Charlie also was tirelessly dedicated to Prevail’s mission and helped organize bowling tournaments to raise money and awareness for the organization. He put others first and will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.”
Mr. Jones’ obituary appears on Page 8 in today’s edition. You may leave condolences at RandallRoberts.com and at ReadTheReporter.com.
