Noblesville’s ‘Bridge of Flowers’ soon in bloom over White River

Logan Street traffic restrictions will begin Monday, in place for 30 days

A Noblesville beautification project on the Logan Street Bridge will lead to partial road closures beginning Monday, Aug. 15.

The City of Noblesville, Hamilton County, and local business partners will activate the pedestrian overlook area on the south side of the Logan Street Bridge over the White River. Dubbed the “Bridge of Flowers,” the area will 1,000 square feet of raised planter boxes, of which approximately 230 square feet will be annuals maintained by Bridge of Flowers volunteers. The bridge will also include 90 linear feet of seating area, as well as two shade structures with overhead lighting.

In order to make these improvements, construction crews will begin work on Monday, Aug. 15. Logan Street traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction between State Road 19 and 8th Street for 30 days. Note that there will be no dedicated westbound right-turn lane during construction.
