The Noblesville Rotary Club made its annual donation to the Noblesville Rotary IVY Tech Hamilton County Scholarship Fund on Sept. 24.

For the past eight years, the club has dedicated the proceeds from its primary fundraiser, the Noblesville Rotary BrewBQ, to support students at Ivy Tech. Marking its biggest contribution ever, the Rotary Club presented a check for $26,000. This money will cover the full cost of a full semester of tuition for up to five local students.

“We believe in the power of education to transform lives,” Club Past President Carrie Dixon said. “To us this isn’t a donation, but rather an investment in the future of Hamilton County. Our BrewBQ, again, exceeded all expectations, and we are humbled to be able to support so many of our local students.”

The 2024 BrewBQ was attended by more than 500 local residents. It is one of the largest amateur barbecue competitions in central Indiana. The BrewBQ has become the highlight of the summer schedule for many grillers.

The 2025 BrewBQ is scheduled for Aug. 9, 2025. To enter a grill team or learn how you can support the scholarship fund, please email noblesvillerotary@gmail.com.

The Noblesville Rotary meets from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of every month at Ginger’s Café, 1111 S. 10th St., Noblesville.
