On Friday, June 6, the Noblesville Lions Club will hold its annual fundraiser “Grillin’ on the Square.” It will take place under the tent on the northwest corner of the historic courthouse square in downtown Noblesville from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The menu includes half-pound pork chops or chicken with sides and dessert. The money raised at this event will fund the six scholarships presented to graduating seniors at Noblesville and Hamilton Heights high schools.
Advanced tickets can be purchased by using the QR code shown here or by going to tinyurl.com/LionsGrillin2025.
As part of this fundraiser, there will also be a silent auction and a very special celebration of the 1954 Milan basketball team, who were the basis for the movie Hoosiers.
The Lions are also using this day to help Prevail, Inc., whose mission is “empower victims of crime and abuse on their path to healing, while engaging the community to support safe, healthy relationships.” To support Prevail’s mission and to continue the Lions’ focus on helping children, the Lions will collect art supplies to provide healthy diversions for the children in these circumstances.
The Lions would appreciate donations of the following items: blowing bubbles, paint brushes, Playdoh, balloons, cookie cutters, wax, wicks, and small jars for candle making, colored pencils, Kinetic sand, Crayola foam, Shrinky Dink materials, multi-color sharpies, 8×11 canvases, Mod Podge, giant sticky notes, and paper gift bags.
