Noblesville Lions Dodgeball Tourney moved to Sept. 12

Due to COVID-19, the Noblesville Lions Club has moved the annual dodgeball tournament to Saturday, Sept. 12. It will begin at noon at the Ivy Tech Gym, 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville.

The tournament will follow a double elimination format with two dodgeball leagues and two cornhole leagues. There will be a maximum of 10 teams in each of the two leagues in both dodgeball and cornhole, equaling a total of 40 teams.

In the dodgeball competition it will require the best two out of three games to advance in a bracket. Cornhole will require one game to advance in a bracket.

The entry donation is $40 per team, which will include admission to the tournament for family members of the team. The entry donation is totally refundable up to 10 days before the tournament. If a team wishes to participate in both tournaments, they will have an entry fee for both tournaments of $80 total.

The two leagues’ winners will play each other for the tournament championship. Tournament champs in both dodgeball and cornhole will receive embroidered baseball caps, and runners-up will receive medals.

Teams interested in more information or participating in the tournament should text or call Steve Shaw at (317) 727-1771 or Larry Jacobi at (317) 508-0571, or call Jerry Graham at (317) 435-4752.
