Noblesville hires new girls basketball coach

The REPORTER

Noblesville High School announced on Tuesday that the Millers have named Justin Bennett as their new head varsity girls basketball coach, replacing former coach Donna Buckley.

Coach Bennett joins NHS from his role as head boys basketball coach for Herron-Riverside High School in Indianapolis, where he recently won a conference championship. He also brings girls basketball coaching experience from head coach roles with Tri-West and Greenwood high schools.

Bennett holds several basketball accolades, including Mid-State Conference Coach of the Year, Indianapolis Public Schools Coach of the Year, and a Top 100 Girls Basketball Coach designation in the Indiana/Kentucky All-Star Series.

“We were impressed by Justin’s ability to improve team records, as well as his high energy, positive attitude, and focus on fundamentals,” said Noblesville High School athletic director Leah Wooldridge. “We’re pleased to welcome him to NHS and excited to see where he takes our program next.”
