No Title Needed is all about getting to the heart of what drives people. Each week, Scott Osborne and Cindy Collins sit down with inspiring guests to talk about the passions shaping their lives. They’re not just interviews; they’re real stories meant to spark something in you.

This week, Osborne and Collins were joined by Anita Joshi, a pediatrician, small business owner, and Carmel City Councilwoman.

Dr. Joshi shared the journey from her childhood in New Jersey to becoming a proud Hoosier for the past 30 years. Hear what inspired her to become a pediatrician and her continued focus to treat all her patients with respect and dignity.

Dr. Joshi’s belief that you have to strive for what you want has kept her focused throughout her life. She has also put her faith in various mentors, depending on their leadership and expertise, and maintaining long-term friendships with them.

Having always been an advocate for people in her profession, sitting on the boards of several organizations and volunteering for local groups, it was a natural transition to become a Carmel City Councilwoman in 2024. Joshi explained that her role in politics is not a second profession. It’s a way to help the people in Carmel. Her philosophy: Stop listening to the outside noise of politics and do what is right for the people and the community. In the episode, she shares more of her beliefs and goals as she strives to work with the other council members to achieve this.

Dr. Joshi gives her hosts a peek into her personality as she shares some of her hobbies and interests and a story about how she added some joy and fun to her pediatric office after COVID.
