Jackson Township Fire was called to an early morning fire Tuesday in downtown Arcadia. Upon arrival, crews were met with heavy smoke and fire. Occupants were awakened by the smell of smoke and were able to alert all family members and escape outside. Unfortunately, one of the families lost their beloved pets in the fire.

Please keep both families in your prayers as they try to make sense of this tragedy in an already difficult time.

Special thanks to all the surrounding fire departments and police agencies that provided much-needed assistance: Cicero Fire, Noblesville Fire, Westfield Fire, Sheridan Fire, Cicero Township/Tipton County, Arcadia Police, Cicero Police and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. Red Cross was also called in to provide needed assistance.
