Hamilton Southeastern ran its win streak to four on Tuesday by beating Pike 74-63 at the Royals’ gymnasium.
Southeastern, which returned to the Class 4A media rankings this week at No. 9, led 19-12 after the first quarter, then jumped ahead 33-22 at halftime, and would maintain its double-digit lead for the second half.
Zach Gunn scored 22 points and pulled seven rebounds. Conner Rotterman added 20 points, while Noah Smith scored 13 points and dished out five assists. Chaz Birchfield grabbed six rebounds.
The Royals are now 18-4 and travel to Brownsburg on Friday to finish Hoosier Crossroads Conference play for the season.
