Noblesville found itself frustrated in Lawrence on Tuesday, as the Millers fell to Lawrence Central 56-52 Tuesday at the Bears’ gym.

Noblesville led 35-24 in the third quarter, and were still up 42-34 early in the fourth period. But LC took over after that, outscoring the Millers 22-10 in the final seven minutes of the game.

“Turnovers are what beat us,” said Noblesville coach Brian McCauley. The Millers had 18 turnovers, which resulted in 18 points for the Bears.

“That’s the game,” said McCauley. “Unfortunately we beat ourselves tonight, and that’s what’s disappointing.”

Max Flinchum scored 22 points for the Millers, including four 3-pointers. Nolan Ginther added 14 points, with Grant Gremel scoring nine points and pulling five rebounds.

Noblesville is now 10-10 and travels to Avon on Friday to finish Hoosier Crossroads Conference play for the season.
