Westfield dropped a 62-45 game at Class 3A No. 1 New Castle on Friday.
The Trojans outscored the Shamrocks in each quarter, leading 29-22 at halftime and 52-38 after three periods. Caleb Welch scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Josh Van Dyke added 11 points.
Westfield is now 9-11 for the season and travels to Kokomo tonight for a 7:30 p.m. game.
