Nine more graduates are on the road to automotive careers

Last Thursday, May 28, Chariot Automotive Group celebrated the latest graduating class of its Automotive Technician Education Pathway (ATEP) program with nine students.

The ATEP program gives high school juniors and seniors hands-on experience working on today’s most popular automotive brands at four Chariot Automotive Institute Service Centers while also earning college credits through Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo. Graduates are then connected with area dealerships to continue careers in the automotive industry.

With ongoing workforce shortages in skilled trades and automotive service, Chariot leaders say the program is helping create a direct pipeline from high school to high-demand careers.
