The Noblesville boys soccer team took care of Brebeuf Jesuit 3-0 in a Thursday away game.
The Class 3A No. 1-ranked Millers had to wait until the 33th minute to get their first goal. Brady Horn got the ball in the net, off a corner kick by Brayden Doll. Noblesville scored again right before halftime, when Matthew Morris assisted Andreas Michaeloff on his first-ever varsity goal.
Michaeloff later said the game was a hard-fought win, “but I’m happy we were able to get the win and the clean sheet. It feels good to get this one.”
The Millers completed the scoring in the second half when goalkeeper Gabe Ingle took a free kick that Palmer Ault chipped in past the Braves’ goalkeeper. Midfielders Doll, Michael Crandley, Jake Johns and Matthew Morris all played a pivotal role with solid ball movement.
Noblesville is 5-0 and plays at 3A No. 8 North Central on Saturday.
