Noblesville traveled to Brownsburg on Friday, May 15 for the second game of its Hoosier Crossroads Conference series with the Bulldogs.
After a back-and-forth game for the first few innings, the Millers would pull ahead for good later in the game to secure the sweep with an 8-4 victory.
Noblesville got going right away with two runs in the first. The bases were loaded when Slade Hodges grounded into a double play, scoring Ethan Clark. Brooks Riggs singled to left to send Aiden Reynolds home for 2-0.
Brownsburg tied it 2-2 on a two-run double in the second, but the Millers came right back.
Clark, Zac Glander and Hodges all got hits to make it 4-2.
The score became 5-2 in the fourth when Clark scooted home on an error by the catcher.
The Bulldogs cut it to 5-4, but Noblesville lengthened its lead for good with two in the fifth and another in the sixth to pick up the road win.
Reynolds went 3-for-4 and scored twice and Clark touched home three times.
The series sweep now has Noblesville (9-3) leading the HCC by one game over Westfield (8-4) with two league games left.
