The Noblesville girls lacrosse team won a rainy Wednesday game against Culver Academies 16-3.
Maddie Christie led the way for the Millers with five goals and three draw controls, along with one ground ball and one forced turnover. Sidney Klinger made some history with two assists; she now has 21 on the season, breaking the single-season high school record. Klinger also scored one goal.
Emma Potter excelled on offense with five goals and two assists, and had seven draw controls, four forced turnovers and two ground balls. Rheagan Haney added three goals and one assist, plus two draw controls, two ground balls and two forced turnovers. Mallory Miller had two goals, two ground balls and two forced turnovers.
Noblesville is 9-1 and plays at Brebeuf Jesuit on Friday.
In junior varsity action, the Millers JV gold team won a tight game with Cathedral 4-3 on Tuesday. Avelyn McCall scored two goals, with one each for Kaelyn Seyfried and Rylee Reagan. Lila Julian, McKenzie Vitale and Abigail Nickloy all had strong defensive games.
The Noblesville JV Black team beat Culver 11-0 on Wednesday. Reagan dished out three assists to go with two goals. Tori Cook had four goals and two draw controls, while Avery Pohlman added two goals, two draw controls and two ground balls.
