Noblesville took care of business early, which allowed the Millers to finish Hoosier Crossroads Conference play with a 60-34 victory over Avon Friday at The Mill.
Class 4A No. 2 Noblesville blasted through the first quarter, outscoring the Orioles 17-3. The Millers kept up the pace in the second quarter, cruising to a 37-10 halftime lead. Noblesville kept its lead around that margin for the second half.
Aaron Fine put together an outstanding performance, nailing six 3-pointers on his way to 22 points. Justin Curry II added nine points. Hunter Walston collected seven rebounds and Aiden Brewer made four steals.
The Millers finished HCC play with a 5-2 record, tying them for second place in the conference with Westfield. Noblesville is 19-2 overall and finishes the regular season Tuesday by hosting Mississinewa.
