Noblesville won an all-county baseball game with Guerin Catholic, 3-1 Monday at Don Dunker Field.
The Millers scored two runs in the second inning. Trevor Corbett doubled in Kolby Kazmierski, then Nolan Decker’s line drive scored Corbett. In the fourth inning, Kazmierski got home when Corbett hit a sacrifice fly.
The Golden Eagles scored their run in the seventh inning. Adam Novelen got on base with a double, and was sent home by Sam Tabor’s RBI groundout. Davis Wagner also hit a double.
Corbett and Decker were both 2-for-2 at the plate. Ty Haley got the pitching win.
Noblesville is 13-11 and plays this evening at Zionsville to start a Hoosier Crossroads Conference series. Guerin Catholic is 18-7 and hosts Lawrence Central on Thursday.
