Westfield Washington Schools’ Parent University announces the creation of a group focused on creating strong bonds between men of the community. It’s called Men of Westfield (no relation to Women of Westfield) and the kickoff event is coming up.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 at West Fork Whisky, 10 E. 191st St., Suite A, Westfield. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Register at bit.ly/WWS100DADS.
Nick Hardwick will lead the first event. He is currently a coach for the Westfield High School football team. He previously played football for the Purdue Boilermakers and played 11 years in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers, starting 146 games and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2007. He served as the team captain for the Chargers for five seasons and blocked for Drew Brees and Philip Rivers.
