Each year, Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA) recognizes an HCLA alum for his or her commitment and service to HCLA and their impact in Hamilton County.
Wiles
This year, HCLA announces Megan Wiles (HCLA Class of 2000, Class of 2025 Dean) as the 2026 HCLA Distinguished Alumni Award honoree.
Wiles is Vice President of Foundation and Community Affairs for Riverview Health. She has been raising funds to support programs and projects that benefit the patients, families, and staff at Riverview Health since March 2015.
In January 2024, she began her third term as a member of the Noblesville Common Council and has served both as President and Vice President of the Council several times.
With over 25 years of work in the not-for-profit sector, in both paid and volunteer positions, Wiles says she is passionate about working with others in making a difference in Hamilton County to help it continue to be the best place to live, work and raise a family in the State of Indiana. She currently serves on the Conner Prairie Board of Directors and was a member of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, Class of 2018-2019. She graduated from Noblesville High School and Ball State University.
HCLA will recognize Wiles as the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award honoree at its annual Leadership Summit on June 18.
About HCLA
Established in 1991, Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA) is the premier leadership program in Hamilton County. HCLA provides a 10-month, immersive experience in which participants take a deep dive into issues that are critically important to our communities.
HCLA graduates are knowledgeable, active leaders serving civic groups, not-for-profits, and government agencies, as well as holding elected office. The HCLA experience doesn’t end after graduation, though – HCLA regularly holds events for alumni to connect with one another and continue their leadership journey.
