Meet Westfield’s new mayor

Submitted by Westfield Chamber

The Westfield Chamber invites business leaders, residents, and guests to attend the February Luncheon featuring Mayor Scott Willis. The luncheon is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Prairie Waters Event Center.

On Nov. 7, 2023, Willis was elected to his first term as Westfield’s mayor.

Willis

Mayor Willis’ deep passion and vision for Westfield is displayed through his community-focused work. He is committed to diversifying Westfield’s tax base, identifying new businesses and jobs, being fiscally responsible and transparent, and strategically growing the city.

As a decorated U.S. Marine Colonel, successful businessman, and 19-year Westfield resident, Willis has brought a new and unique voice to the community.  He has served the community in various capacities, such as Westfield City Councilor, Westfield Washington Public Library board member, Student Impact board member, Westfield YMCA steering committee member, the President’s Council for Purdue University, past Chairman of the Westfield GOP Club, and is involved in several Veteran organizations including the VFW, American Legion, and Marine Corps League. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Marine Foundation and Operation Job Ready Veterans, a non-profit organization that supports veterans transitioning from the military to corporate America.

Willis and his wife, Stacey, have three children and enjoy family vacations, Purdue sports, and volunteering in the community.

Mayor Willis has hit the ground running – literally and figuratively – since officially taking office on Jan. 1. He is looking forward to discussing future developments in the city and initiatives focused on local businesses. He will also share his vision for the revitalization of Downtown Westfield. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the mayor himself and learn more about his plans for the city.

The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with the opportunity to network with other attendees and businesses. You will also have the opportunity meet with different company’s display tables. Guests will then enjoy a delicious lunch. Remarks will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Discounted Partner Tickets and Non-Partner Tickets are available. Corporate Reserved Tables (seating for eight) are also available. Click here to reserve your seat or corporate table.
