Mary Lou Thatcher, 92, Westfield, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born June 17, 1927 in Sheridan, daughter of George and Mamie Mae (Robison) Staley.
Mary Lou was born and raised in Sheridan and graduated Sheridan High School in 1945.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 29 years, Avery Thatcher, Jr., and brother, Donald Staley.
Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (Barbara French) Thatcher, John (Paula) Thatcher, daughter, Georganna (Jay) Morin and James (Terry) Thatcher; nine grandchildren, Avery (Lisa) Thatcher III, Mika (Charlotte) Thatcher, Erik Thatcher, Gregory Morin, Patrick Morin, Christopher Morin, Austin Thatcher, Elizabeth (Christopher) Schoenfelder and Carolyn (Simon Levy) Thatcher; and three great-grandsons, Linden Thatcher, Beckett Thatcher and Leo Thatcher.
A private family service was held in Bussell Family Funerals, followed by a private committal service in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
