Marvin Bruce Risden, 87, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at his home. He was born on November 24, 1935, to James and Virginia (Shepard) Risden in Lee County, Va.
Bruce graduated from Saint Charles High School in Saint Charles, Va., and he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Bruce worked at ARA Food Service as a repair technician before his retirement. He attended New Light Christian Center where he enjoyed singing with the congregation. Bruce liked to play guitar and piano and listen to Christian music.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Arbadella Risden; son, Michael (Nellie) Risden; grandchildren, Michelle (Frank) Chuta, Chris Collins, Troy (Jennifer) Risden, Michael (Tonya) Risden; great-grandchildren, Anthony (Reagan) Manghelli, Emilio Chuta, Alex Mastin, Peyton Risden, Aden Risden, Mason Risden, Jonathon Risden, and Joshua Risden; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl Risden, Bradley Risden, and Raymond Risden.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Alfred Parks and Pastor Michael W. Risden officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
