Margaret Ruth “Peggie” Gould, 78, Fishers, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at IU Health Saxony Fishers. She was born on January 16, 1946, to the late John and Ruth (Conaghan) Kelly in Cleveland, Ohio.
Peggie graduated from Shaker Heights High School, Class of 1963. She attended The Ohio State University and received her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. Peggie received her master’s degree in social work from Indiana University and was a social worker for over 20 years in discharge planning, dialysis, and hospice care. She was a vigorous advocate for her clients, often butting heads with hospital administration in the process. Peggie lived in New Castle for 38 years before moving to Fishers in 2013. She was a member of PEO woman’s philanthropic organization and attended Cyntheanne Christian Church. Peggie was an all-around lovely person.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Gould; sons, Robert John (Katie) Gould and Evan (Vina) Dowling; and her sister, Patricia Titgemeyer.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, with services at noon, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Cyntheanne Christian Church, 13151 Cyntheanne Road, Fishers.
