Louise A. McCafferty

January 27, 1931 – April 14, 2023

Louise A. McCafferty, 92, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 27, 1931, to Frank and Adeline (Williams) Neustadter in Mauston, Wis.

Louise lived for and loved her family. She enjoyed reading books, crossword puzzles, and playing card games. Louise enjoyed traveling out west, to Florida, and to Brown County. She was a fantastic cook, always hosting the holiday meals and special occasions. Louise was loved by her five children and will be dearly missed.

Louise worked at Marion General Hospital as a pharmacy technician and in the accounts payable department.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Robert) Walker, Mark (Elaine) McCafferty, Bradley McCafferty, Leslie (Dick) Weigel, and Craig (Ann) McCafferty; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Eric, Andrew, Lauren, Kurt, Ryan, Ben, Tommy, and Maeve; six great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Moebius; and brother-in-law, David (Margie) McCafferty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, Charles McCafferty; and siblings, Donald Neustadter, James Neustadter, and Ann DeVore.

Visitation and Mass were held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st St., Noblesville. Burial followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 11201 S. Marion Road 35, Marion.
