Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, an icon of Chicago-style pizza, is expanding in the Indianapolis metro area and has engaged McFarland PR & Public Affairs, Inc. as its agency of record locally.
“Indianapolis is the perfect fit for the Lou Malnati’s brand, which is based on family, fun, fellowship and community,” said owner Marc Malnati. “Those are attributes my parents, Lou and Jean Malnati, believed in deeply and Indianapolis is teeming with that character. We’re excited to be here and we love the Hoosier hospitality. We’re tasking McFarland with connecting us deeply with the communities we serve, and helping us transform their dining experience into a collective passion for our pizza and a life-long affection for the Lou Malnati’s brand.”
Considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati’s was founded 50 years ago in the northern suburb of Lincolnwood. Today Lou Malnati’s has restaurants throughout the Chicagoland area, Phoenix Valley area, Milwaukee metro area and now the Indianapolis metro area.
Lou Malnati’s currently has two carry-out locations in the metro area, with one on Spring Mill Road in Carmel, and the other on West 86th Street in Indianapolis. The Chicago icon also plans to bring its signature full-service restaurant and bar to Ferguson Street in Broad Ripple in the fall, featuring its legendary deep dish pizzas made with very precisely selected and top-quality ingredients.
