Carmel resident and experienced community and business leader Danny Lopez has earned the Republican nomination for House District 39.
“When we launched our campaign, we set out to engage residents with civility and collaboration and identify practical, commonsense solutions to the issues Hamilton County families talk about at the dinner table,” Lopez said. “Our message is resonating, and tonight, with your help, we have earned the Republican nomination for House District 39. Throughout my career, I have worked to build relationships, create consensus around solutions, and get things done – and I’ve never wavered in my convictions along the way. Carmel and Westfield deserve someone who will be effective on day one, and I am ready to serve. I look forward to meeting with folks across our district and putting forth a substantive plan in the coming months as we seek victory in November and get to work on your behalf at the Statehouse.”
Lopez, a senior executive with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, has enjoyed a 20-year career as a leader in the private and public sectors. He has held leadership positions in the Daniels, Pence, and Holcomb administrations and was State Director for Indiana Senator Dan Coats.
Lopez has also served on the boards of directors of a long list of impactful not-for-profit organizations.
He and his wife, Sofia, live in Carmel with their two children, Daniel and Alexandra. Indiana’s 39th District is located entirely within Hamilton County and includes portions of Carmel and Westfield.
Lopez will face off in the November General Election against Democrat Matt McNally.
