Hamilton County officials announced that through Friday, Oct. 4, the White River will be closed and portage will be required while construction crews begin painting the Logan Street bridge.
A traffic shift to the south side of the bridge will remain throughout the duration of the project. This will also involve closing the sidewalk along the north side of the bridge throughout the duration of the project. The map shows the signed pedestrian detour. The detour consists of 8th Street, Conner Street (State Road 32), Nixon Street and Logan Street.
