Local nonprofit receives $5,000 Lilly Scholar Network grant

The Lilly Scholars Network (LSN) has awarded 14 organizations around the state a total of $51,350 in grant funding through the LSN Lead Forward Community Grants (LFCG) program. These grants will support a wide range of community-driven projects led by Lilly Endowment Community Scholars in partnership with local nonprofit organizations.

In Hamilton County, A Kid Again Indiana has received a $5,000 grant for its Capes and Crowns Adventure project. The program provides a cost-free, joy-filled experience for children with life-threatening conditions and their families, fostering connection and resilience.

The Scholar Partner is Narman Satsangi, the 2021 Lilly Scholar for Johnson County.

LSN, with funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. and guidance from Indiana Humanities, empowers Lilly Endowment Community Scholars to actively engage in the civic life of their Indiana communities across the state and address various needs to make a positive impact.
