Carmel just got a whole lot tastier with a new DQ restaurant coming to town.
American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), an iconic leader in treats and food, has announced a new restaurant opening on Monday, April 6 in Carmel.
Located at 7245 E. 146th St., near the intersection of East 146th Street and Community Drive, the new restaurant will be owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Harsh Barot, Has Patel, and Pravin Patel.
“We’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand the joy DQ restaurants bring to the communities we serve since beginning our work with the brand five years ago,” said Barot, DQ Carmel franchise owner. “We’re proud to bring another location to Carmel and continue to welcome the local community to celebrate life’s little and big moments with us.”
The trio have been Dairy Queen franchisees for five years and are longtime fans of the brand. With several years of restaurant experience, they say they look forward to continuing their involvement with Dairy Queen and plan to open additional locations in the future.
Community involvement will be central to the new restaurant’s mission. The team plans to partner with local schools, engage with the college communities in Carmel, and participate in events that celebrate and support local residents, in addition to Dairy Queen’s national partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The restaurant will serve hot food and treats, including Signature Stackburgers, Chicken Strip Baskets, and world-famous DQ soft serve in cones, sundaes, shakes, and the signature Blizzard Treat, among many more craveable menu items.
A welcoming environment for all, the new DQ restaurant features a modern design with large, comfortable booths, community tables and chairs, a designated mobile order pick-up counter, and drive-thru lanes.
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day starting April 6. The Carmel location is the third DQ restaurant owned by Barot, Patel, and Patel, who also operate locations in Noblesville and Clermont.
