Melanie Kingsley, M.D., a local board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist, has announced the opening of the permanent home of MK Dermatology, now located at 12174 N. Meridian St., Suite 210, Carmel.

MK Dermatology specializes in dermatologic and cosmetic treatments such as laser therapy for cosmetic and medical skin concerns, injectable treatments (including filler, neurotoxin, platelet-rich plasma), skin resurfacing, skin tightening, as well as treatments for acne, rosacea and scarring. The practice also performs surgeries and treats dermatologic diseases and skin cancers through pioneering technology.

“We built this new office to be more of a destination for our patients, a place they look forward to visiting, receiving treatment and relaxing all while receiving the quality care and expert treatment they deserve,” Dr. Kingsley said. “We pride ourselves in treating any and all skin concerns through customized treatment plans for everything from mild cases of acne to skin cancer.”

Originally opened as a temporary office space in Noblesville with a team of four, MK Dermatology has grown with the addition of a Physician Assistant, a nurse, two medical aestheticians and a second patient registration specialist. The beautiful new office space features a warm and inviting lobby, Dr. Kingsley’s own CAMU Anti-Aging and CAMU ClearSkin skincare products lining the walls, stunning artwork and thoughtful design, private relaxation rooms and more.

MK Dermatology is also the only Direct Care dermatology practice in Indiana. With a patient-centric approach to healthcare, this model means insurance companies have zero influence as to how they treat patients. Patients are provided with the best possible treatments and solutions, without the fear of surprise bills, copays or the constraints of reimbursement concerns.

Dr. Kingsley completed her medical education and dermatology residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident and was awarded the Francour Award for Outstanding Dermatology Resident. Following residency, Dr. Kingsley completed a prestigious laser, cosmetic and dermatologic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, with clinical faculty from the Harvard and Yale Departments of Dermatology.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Kingsley is also an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Indiana University School of Medicine. She founded the Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Center at IU Health Physicians (IUHP) in 2010 and helped build a very successful clinic through 2023.
