On Oct. 26, the Crossroads Chapter of National Charity League (NCL) held its second annual Day of Service. Throughout Hamilton and Marion counties, 132 mother and daughter volunteers participated, collectively donating 357 volunteer hours in a single day.
“While we serve alongside our daughters throughout the year, this day is really special as we come together as a chapter on one day to make an even greater difference in our local community,” said Kim Harvey, president of the Crossroads Chapter. “It’s inspiring to see what we can do to positively impact our community when we all work together!”
