As the school year begins, so does Lions Club vision screening. Noblesville and Zionsville Lions screened students at White River Elementary School in Noblesville on Monday, Aug. 10. Lions will continue to screen students through the end of September. According to Lions Club International, 80 percent of all visual impairment can be prevented or cured. The first step to prevention is awareness. The second is early detection through vision screening. Lions partner with local schools to screen children to identify those at risk for vision loss.
