Lindsay Gramlich has officially won the Democratic nomination for Indiana House District 39 and will advance to the General Election on Nov. 3.
“I am incredibly grateful to all those who showed up to the polls in Carmel and Westfield to vote and exercise their civic duty, and to all of our supporters and volunteers who have worked diligently to bring our message to voters,” Gramlich said. “This campaign has always been about bringing people together and working to create a state that truly represents everyday Hoosiers, not special interests.”
Gramlich has been a longtime community advocate and brings with her over 16 years of experience in leadership and philanthropy in central Indiana. Currently, she serves as the President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis, a nonprofit leadership organization dedicated to helping girls realize their full potential, and has also worked in various capacities at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. She is a 2026 recipient of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s prestigious “Forty Under 40” award, which recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and achievements in their careers, and was voted one of Indy’s Most Pivotal Leaders in 2022.
“This year, we more than doubled the votes received in the 2024 Democratic primary, significantly closing the gap between my opponent and me,” Gramlich said “These are clear signs that this Statehouse seat is truly winnable and that the energy behind our campaign is strong and only growing.”
Gramlich is a graduate of several notable leadership fellowships in central Indiana. She has served on various boards and currently sits on the DePauw Alumni Association Board and served as Co-Chair of Community Outreach of the Local Organizing Committee of the 2026 Final Four. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University.
“We are ready to move forward to the general election with a focus on the issues that truly matter to Hoosiers: fully funding our public schools, bringing down the cost of living, and restoring transparency and accountability to our state government,” Gramlich said. “Hoosiers should demand more from their elected officials, and I’m ready to provide true representation to District 39 at the Indiana Statehouse.”
