Yes, Fishers gets sparked before the 4th of July, then does it all again on the day itself. And yes, when Carmel gets festive it is much more than a single day of American spirit. But Cicero … oh, Cicero, you tiny little town with your great big giant heart. You don’t have anything approaching southern Hamilton County budgets, but you still manage to make your festival half a week long and pack the park and streets full of vendors, the ballfields full of rides and midway games, and the shores of Morse Reservoir with people saying oooh and ahhh when you pop of colorful explosions over the water.
