Show synopsis

A New York theatre critic lives with his second wife (20 or so years younger) and son from his first marriage to a glamorous New York actress. The new wife decides to write a play; therein rises the dilemma. Does he go to the opening and write an honest critic jeopardizing his marriage, or not attend the play, jeopardizing his job?

Throw in the glamorous ex who wants him back, the producer who may or may not be making a play for his wife, and the sarcastic son who he pays to come up with one-line zingers to use in his critiques and you have a comedy which the New York Times called “fresh and funny.”
