This coming Election Day, Nov. 8, Washington Township voters will have the opportunity to renew the Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) operating referendum at a lower tax rate. Funds will be used to retain current staff, keep teacher compensation competitive, avoid increasing class size, and add programming for agricultural science and performing arts.
In order to help the community clearly understand the facts, WWS administrators will hold three community meetings, the first of which takes place tonight at 7 p.m. at Westfield High School.
