College Avenue construction
Phase II of the North College Avenue reconstruction project (I-465 to 106th Street) will begin on or after Monday, Aug. 4 and continue through the end of the year. This phase includes full reconstruction of the northbound lanes and work on the east side of the road, including most of the new roundabout at Pennsylvania Parkway.
A 30-day closure around October or November will be in place to complete the west side of the roundabout. Northbound traffic will reopen before winter which will allow two-way traffic during the schools’ winter break.
Affected driveway aprons in this phase of construction will be temporarily removed and replaced with stone to maintain access during construction.
If you have questions, refrain from approaching the contractors, but please do reach out to Engineering Administrator Joshua Kirsh at jkirsh@carmel.in.gov.
