K9 Maudie, Deputy Hoard sniff out missing Carmel boy

A missing 13-year-old autistic Carmel boy was found safe on Monday after he was last seen at 11 p.m. Sunday evening.

According to the Carmel Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff Deputy Neal Hoard and his K9 partner, Maudie, found the boy at approximately 9:55 a.m. on Monday.

Maudie has served as a tracking dog for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department for nearly one year.
