Judith (Judy) Anna Ridgeway

August 22, 1934 – October 9, 2023

Judith (Judy) Anna Ridgeway, 89, was called home to join God on the morning of October 9, 2023. She had been dealing with various medical problems for quite some time. She no longer must struggle and is safe within the arms of the Lord. Judy was born in Indianapolis on August 22, 1934, to Clarence and Frances Hall.

Judy was a proud mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was dearly cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She spent her entire life in the Fishers area until moving to Fortville in 2000. She was a 50-year member of The Order of The Eastern Star. She married her one and only, Loren Earl (Goney), in September of 1953. Before his passing in 2020 they celebrated 67 wonderful years together. She was most proud of her family and lived her life for them. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ed Gibbs; grandson, Ben Mount and fiancée Holly Fields; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Charlotte Ridgeway; brother-in-law, Jerry Wagner; cousin, Carl Hall and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who she dearly cherished.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Loren Earl (Goney); son, David; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Lela Ridgeway; sister-in-law, Linda Wagner; brother and sister-in-law, John and Sue Hersberger; and niece, Brenda Florea.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with Ben Greenbaum officiating. There will be an extra hour of visitation starting at 10 a.m. on the morning of the Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers and other gifts the family is requesting donations to The Fishers United Methodist Church, 9691 E. 116th St., Fishers, IN 46037; or the Hamilton Southeastern Athletic Department, 13910 E. 126th St., Fishers, IN 46037-9781.
