Joycie Lee Bond, 90, Noblesville, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in Noblesville. She was born on August 19, 1935, to Clifford and Cora Lee (Reynolds) Stapleton in Pennington Gap, Va.
Joycie worked in retail management. She enjoyed gardening and flower arranging. Joycie enjoyed wearing her hats.
She is survived by her son, Johnny E. (Laurie) Bond; daughter-in-law, Terri Bond; siblings, Denny Ray (Winona) Stapleton, David (Patricia) Stapleton, Emma Sue Stapleton, and Louvella (Garland) Shelton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert J.C. Bond; daughter, LaVonda J. Davis; grandchild, Reanna Davis; and brothers, Kenneth Stapleton, Marion Stapleton, Delmas Stapleton, and John Christopher Stapleton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Rev. David Crawford officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to until the time of service at the funeral home.
