Joy C. Price, 87, Zionsville, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born on December 18, 1930 to Edward and Gretchen (Stephens) Good in Marion, Ind.
Joy was a deeply spiritual and kind woman. She was a former member of Fishers United Methodist Church and the Fall Creek Home Extension Club (Hamilton County Homemakers). Joy loved to sing and quilt, and was an artist, a writer and an excellent cook. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Scrabble and beating her opponents. Joy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Joy’s warmth and sense of humor endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her throughout her life.
Joy is survived by her children, Lori Groves, Betty Jarrett, Susan Lee, Peggy Levine, Dale Price, David Price, Dean Price, Jack Price, Tom Price and Steve Sicinski; 27 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Sicinski in 1968; second husband, Robert E. Price in 2001; son, Robert Price; and brother, Dan Good.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Fishers United Methodist Church, 9691 E. 116th St., Fishers, with visitation from noon to the time of service. Rev. Jared Kendall will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
Joy’s family has entrusted her care to Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.
