Jimmie H. Lewis

February 4, 1948 – November 14, 2017

Jimmie H. Lewis, 69, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on February 4, 1948 to Charles E. and Hazel E. (Chambers) Lewis in Virginia.

Jimmy had been a fabrication engineer designer for Carter Enterprises. He proudly served his country as with the U.S. Army Infantry, where he was a Sergeant and a Vietnam War veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest love was for his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lewis; sister, Denise (Steve) Coverdale; two grandsons, Brett and Chad Colbert; and nieces and nephews, Deborah Harber, Jerome Dean, Kristofer Lewis, Josh Lewis, and Jake and Luke Coverdale.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lewis; sister, Virginia Charlene Carter; grandmother, Edith Chambers; and uncle, Vernon Sizemore.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard D. Bell will officiate.
