Jeffrey Kim Higginbotham, 69, was born on December 15, 1955, in Noblesville, to Charles and Shirley (Mosbaugh) Higginbotham. He left us on November 25, 2025, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sandy (Winger) Higginbotham of Cinebar, Wash.; his children, Hollie (Phillip) Curry of Zebulon, N.C., and Ryan Cain of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Ian Curry of Zebulon, N.C., and Braden Cain of Portland, Ore.; his beloved dogs, Jack and Zoey; mother, Shirley Higginbotham of Tipton; siblings, Mike (Cindy) Higginbotham of Noblesville, Randy (Ginger) Higginbotham of Sheridan, Robin Mills, of Cicero, John (Kim) Higginbotham of Arcadia, and Paul (Susan) Higginbotham of Noblesville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Noblesville High School where he was active in FFA. Jeff also completed the Purdue University Short Course in 1982. After graduating, Jeff was engaged in farming where he worked for Harger Farms of Noblesville, Lynnwood Farm of Carmel, and Walnut Creek Farm of Greencastle, Ind. After moving to Glidden, Wis., Jeff was the Head Fire Kiln Operator at Glidden Black Bear Forest Products. After several years living in Wisconsin, Jeff and Sandy returned to Noblesville and Jeff worked for Hamilton County in the Maintenance Department at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. Upon retiring from Hamilton County after a few years, Jeff and Sandy landed in Cinebar, Wash., to be near their son Ryan.
Jeff enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, horses, reading, and history. Jeff was a member of Union United Methodist Church. Jeff will be missed.
