Indiana Artisan clay artist Sue Scamihorn made her mark in the world of miniatures, and she professes that she cannot make a full-sized mug. When a friend gave her a miniature wheel a few years ago, mugs were soon part of her work.
Teeny-tiny, itsy-bitsy mugs, that is.
Challenge yourself to create a dime-sized mug at 2nd SaturDate on Aug. 9 in Carmel. The drop-in make-and-take will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery, 22 N. Range Line Road in the Carmel Arts & Design District.
A Carmel Arts Grant provides funding for this free and fun event.
