The Colts announced their ownership transition on Monday, from the late Jim Irsay to his daughters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson.

Irsay-Gordon is the Owner and CEO. She will serve as the principal owner.

Foyt is the Owner and Executive Vice President.

Jackson is the Owner and Chief Brand Officer, as well as the President of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation.

“His dream was, probably his biggest dream other than having a big family and having grandkids and being with us, was to see us do what we’re doing right now,” Jackson said. “I think the hardest thing about that is that his biggest dream and goal he always knew he wouldn’t be able to be here to see.”

The Irsay daughters are ready to take over, and continue the legacy of their father.

“I think you have to give and pay it forward,” Irsay-Gordon said. “With my Dad I think we all learned from that and I think also hiring good people in our organization. Letting them do their jobs and letting them own their role. We might be owners but you own your role and we will get out of the way and be there for the support. I would say those are some of the lessons, there are so many but those are some high level ones.”

“We know we’re going to try to live on his legacy in the best way that he has taught us and what the horseshoe represents is going to continue to be what he taught from the very beginning,” Foyt said.

Irsay-Gordon served as the Colts vice chair/owner for 14 seasons. She became a vice president in 2008. In 2004, she started representing the Colts at NFL meetings.

Foyt was also a vice chair/owner for 14 seasons. She worked for the NFL, helping to plan the first regular season game outside North America in London in 2007. She also joined the Colts in 2007, working in marketing and community relations. She has also helped represent the Colts at NFL meetings.

Jackson also served 14 seasons as a vice chair/owner. She joined the Colts in 2010. Jackson has coordinated the Irsay family’s community and philanthropic efforts. She currently leads Kicking The Stigma, the Colts and Irsay family’s initiative centered around raising awareness for mental health and the stigma often associated with it. She has also helped represent the Colts at NFL meetings.
