Just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Carmel police officers responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a Ford F-150 pickup truck that had left the roadway and rolled into the ditch on the ramp from U.S. 31 South to Interstate 465 West.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., Hamilton County Coroner’s Office deputies were dispatched to the site of the crash, and the driver of the vehicle was determined to have died as a result of a rollover.
Coroner Jeff Jellison identified the driver as Galindo Clemente, 34, Indianapolis. Preliminary investigation determined Clemente lost control of his truck before leaving the roadway.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the official cause and manner of death are pending autopsy and toxicology results.
