Indianapolis man arrested for Carmel bank robbery

At 4:49 p.m. on Monday, Carmel police responded to the Teachers Credit Union, 635 E. Carmel Drive, for a bank robbery.

A white male, later identified as Marty McConnell, 63, Indianapolis, presented a note to a teller demanding cash. The ensuing investigation led Carmel police detectives to an address in Indianapolis where McConnell was located and taken into custody later that evening.

McConnell has been booked into the Hamilton County Jail and has been charged with Robbery, a Level 5 Felony.
