The IHSAA announced the classifications for baseball and softball for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years on Tuesday.
There were no changes in the classifications for the Hamilton County schools, and all the divisions are the same in both sports. Carmel, Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Noblesville and Westfield will continue to play in Class 4A, the highest class.
Guerin Catholic and Hamilton Heights will stay in Class 3A, while Sheridan and University will again play in Class 1A.
Sectional groupings for both sports will be announced in late August following approval of the IHSAA Executive Committee.
